12th April Working Bee

It's that time of the month again RAT-riders.

If you can, meet us at the Bush Road gate 9.00 AM Sunday for a bit of trail-grooming.

11th January Working Bee

I'm just back from an inspection ride, and I have to say the trail is currently as close to perfect as it has ever been. I didn't even fall off, except for the 'advanced trail' at the end of Wasp which I normally avoid. Anyway, the second Sunday is looming up, so it's time for some more trail lovin'.

9th November Working Bee

While the groomed sections of the trail are great to ride, there are still lots of puddles that need removing before they become deep ruts.

October 6, 2014

12th October Working Bee

It's nearly that time of the month again. Hope to see you 9.00AM at the Bush Rd entrance.

14th September Working Bee

If you have been riding the RAT when the ground is soft you have incurred a karmic debt. Please come on Sunday and help with repairs.

August 6, 2014

10th August Working Bee

It's almost that time of the month again folks. The long range forecast suggests Sunday morning will be fine, so no excuses.

July 11, 2014

13th July Working Bee

It's been a couple of weeks since I rode the RAT, but judging by the state of other bush tracks in the area that I've run through there will be a tree or three needing removal.

11th May Working Bee

Starting at 9.00AM a usual; meet at Bush Rd gate.

I took a spin around this morning just before the rain, and the only obvious problem is a large wattle blocking One Sunday Oval. Handsaws will probably do the job.

13th April Working Bee

Meet at the Bush Road gate 9.00AM.

I'm hoping we can clear the fallen wattle from Fairlane - if anyone can bring a chainsaw it would be helpful.

I imagine it is rather difficult for newbies to figure out where the track is supposed to go at the moment.

12th Jan working bee

Yep, it's time for another "trail-loving" session.

This month's priorities include:
1. Gather up the loose suface gravel that threatens to take out your front wheel in the middle of a sweet & fast corner. (The plan is to stockpile it for re-depolyment in fresh muddy spots next winter, so bring wheelbarrow and gloves if you have them.)
