14th August Inaugural Annual General Meeting and working bee

As we have several regular riders who can't attend working bees and want to donate to the cause instead, the time has come for us to open a bank account.

An unincorporated organisation like ours can have an account, but the bank wants us to hold a meeting and produce minutes recording our collective decision.

Accordingly, I will be making the following proposal at a meeting to be held at 9.00am Sunday 14th August, next to the Bush Rd gate:

That the Royal Albany Trail mountain bike club opens a bank account with the BNZ Albany, and accepts donations via the website and other channels as appropriate.
The signatories on the account can be any two of the following members:
John Potter
Alistair Allan
Andrew Robbie
Malcolm Nuttall

This (brief) meeting will be followed by our regular working bee. Even if you are not able to stay for the morning, you are very welcome to drop by at 9.00am and record your vote.

If you can help with trail maintenance, a shovel and wheelbarrow will be the most useful items of equipment to bring - there are several piles of metal that would be far more useful spread on soft sections of the track.
